Ananya Singhweb developer

Hello, I'm Ananya

I build web apps for real people, start to finish.

Final-year B.Tech (Computer Science) in Greater Noida. My canteen app feeds 1,200 students every day, and I interned at a Noida startup last summer. I'm looking for my first full-time role, and I take small freelance projects.

CanteenQ on two phones: the menu with prices, and an order marked ready with token 47 at counter 2

The canteen had one counter and a 25-minute queue at 1 pm. CanteenQ lets students order and pay by UPI from class, get a token, and walk up when their food is ready. The kitchen sees every order on a tablet.

1,200 students order on it; the lunch queue went from 25 minutes to 6.

FasalBhav in Hindi: today's wheat prices at five mandis near Meerut, a price chart, and the daily SMS

Our Smart India Hackathon problem: small farmers sell at the nearest mandi without knowing the price 30 km away. FasalBhav shows today's prices at nearby mandis in Hindi and English, and sends one SMS a day for a farmer's crop. I built the web app and the price API.

National finalist at Smart India Hackathon 2025.

About

From Hapur to my first internship

I grew up in Hapur and made my first website in class 11, for my father's hardware shop. It had one page, our phone number and a photo of the counter, and customers started calling from it. That was it for me.

In college I built things people around me needed: a canteen app, a notes portal for my batch, a site for a coaching centre back home. Last summer I interned at an ed-tech startup in Noida and learned what it is like to ship code other people depend on.

Next year I want to join a team where I can keep building for real users and learn from people better than me.

I write JavaScript and TypeScript every day, practise DSA in Java, and keep everything on GitHub.

  • 2024 – nowFreelance, small websites
